THE NIGHT WINDOW: Dean Koontz’s Fifth Jane Hawke Novel Announced

Just ahead of Dean Koontz’s fourth Jane Hawke novel, The Forbidden Door, hitting bookstores on September 11th, 2018, the New York Times bestseller’s fifth Hawke book has been announced.

First introduced in The Silent Corner (2017), Koontz has quickly turned his new heroine into one of the strongest, most compelling female protagonists in the action thriller genre. Now, already four books in, Koontz will publish The Night Window in early 2019.

The Night WindowJane Hawk strikes at the heart of a deadly conspiracy in the blockbuster finale to the New York Times bestselling series that began with Dean Koontz’s The Silent Corner.

Since her sensational debut in The Silent Corner, readers have been riveted by Jane Hawk’s dogged quest to unravel the threads of a malevolent conspiracy expanding its control over America via an army of mind-altered citizens at every level of society. At first, only Jane stood against the “Arcadian” conspirators, but slowly others have arisen to stand with her, even as there are troubling signs that the “adjusted” people are beginning to spin viciously out of control. Now, in the thrilling conclusion of her one-woman war, Jane will require all her resources—and more—as she confronts those at the center of power, who have laid an inescapable trap to crush her and all she loves.

Dean Koontz, the author of many #1 New York Times bestsellers, lives in Southern California with his wife, Gerda, their golden retriever, Elsa, and the enduring spirits of their goldens, Trixie and Anna.

The Night Window, which is currently scheduled for release on March 14, 2019, is not yet available for pre-order. We’ll update this article just as soon as it is. In the meantime, readers will get an exclusive first-look preview at The Night Window in The Forbidden Door, later on this year.
