January kicked things off nicely with a few strong releases, but February is on another level, with a handful of the genre’s biggest names set to release new books. And as always, if you’re searching for all the new titles about to flood store shelves, we’ve got you covered. Just how awesome is this month going to be for readers? Well, normally, we try to choose 2-3 titles to highlight on any given month, but February is so stacked that this month, we’ve picked nine—yes, NINE—titles we think are especially worth buying and reading immediately. And it easily could have been more.

From TRBS: 11 years after Hayes’ debut novel, I am Pilgrim, first landed on store shelves, the author is finally back with a follow-up that’s not quite a sequel and not quite as good as his first book. Now, hold on, because I know that sounds negative, but in reality, I say that because Pilgrim (a global phenomenon when it first came out) was such a special book that I’m not sure Hayes could have ever topped himself. Pilgram was a 10/10, whereas Locust, which comes in at a whopping 800 pages, is closer to a 9/10. It’s excellent, though it’s fair to say that you may want to go into this one having already made the decision to suspend all disbelief. Do that, and you’ll enjoy Locust for what it is . . . a big and thrilling reading experience that is unlike anything else in stores today.
